Check out what we're listening to:
After trying all creative outlets to make a living doing what they love, the Jacobs' family opened the Ocean City studio in July 2016 after moving to the resort from Baltimore. Ocean City didn’t have anything like this, & they wanted to offer art entertainment to locals & tourists alike.
Now the studio is receiving recognition as one of "The 10 Best Spots for Paint & Wine in Maryland!" from Best Things Maryland.
The idea for an interactive painting studio came about after the Jacobs' were asked by their church and friends to host paint night fundraisers. They loved that they were able to serve others by using their God-given talents and passions. The pair came down to Ocean City twice a year to help with a Youth for Christ event where they created an interactive arts and craft section.
They decided to look for art jobs at the beach after reading an article about how the area was beginning to blossom with an art community. Within a matter of months, the OC Painting Experience became a reality & they've created a tiny epicenter for artistic imagination.
The goal behind the OC Painting Experience is to offer visitors a place where they can detach from the distractions of life & focus on a relaxing, creative activity.
